Greetings!
Did you know our very first event took place in Sudak (Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Ukraine) from June 5-7, 2008. It was a tribute to Professor I.I. Sukharev, the founder of vascular surgery in Ukraine. It was announced as the first Ukrainian Phlebological Conference –the “Sukharev Readings” (Сухаревські читання) . The arterial section was titled “Non-standard Situations in Vascular Surgery” and only 40 participants registered for that conference.
